Andecour develops reliable supply channels for ferrous and non-ferrous metals and industrial secondary raw materials from Chile, connecting qualified local sources with European smelters and manufacturers.
About us
Andecour is a Chilean sourcing and trading company focused on developing reliable supply channels for ferrous and non-ferrous metals and industrial secondary raw materials between Chile and Europe.
We identify supply opportunities, qualify counterparties, coordinate material inspection and documentation, structure commercial transactions and manage export logistics through to the European customer.

Check availability →Why Chile
Chile combines a globally relevant mining and metals ecosystem with established export infrastructure and access to the Pacific. Andecour turns that industrial base into qualified, documented supply opportunities for European buyers.
Access to mining, processing, manufacturing and recycling streams capable of generating primary and secondary metal supply opportunities.
An additional sourcing geography that can complement existing European supply channels and reduce concentration on a limited number of origins.
Established ports, container logistics and international trade infrastructure support recurrent industrial shipments from Chile to Europe.
Andecour operates on the ground in Chile to identify sources, qualify counterparties, coordinate inspection, documentation and export execution.
Why secondary metals · Why now
Decarbonisation, carbon pricing and supply security are turning classified scrap into a strategic input for European metallurgy. Andecour develops documented, quality-assured supply from Chile to meet that demand.
Recycled steel cuts CO2 emissions by around 58% versus ore-based production. Recycled aluminium saves about 95% of the energy. Copper scrap reduces CO2 by roughly 65%. Every documented shipment carries a measurable climate benefit.
Since January 2026 the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism prices the embedded carbon of imported steel and aluminium — while scrap is assigned zero embedded emissions. Secondary inputs are a direct compliance advantage.
Europe’s shift to electric-arc and secondary production is constrained by the availability of high-quality scrap, and copper and aluminium rank among the EU’s strategic raw materials. Reliable new origins are needed.
For each shipment we provide the available origin, material and transport information to support our clients’ Scope 3 analysis and CSRD reporting — without replacing their own verification processes.

Our process
Responsible sourcing
Verifiable information for industrial purchasing decisions.
Our responsible sourcing approach starts with verifiable information on the supplier, origin, material and logistics chain. We aim for each transaction to be documentable from its identified source in Chile through to destination.
Where the material and available data allow, we incorporate relevant environmental and emissions information that can support our European clients’ internal due diligence and reporting processes.
Port of Antofagasta · Export logistics · Northern Chile
Supplier identification, material provenance and available supporting records for each transaction.
Collection of relevant supplier and material environmental information where available and applicable.
Consolidation and transport planning aimed at reducing inefficiencies while maintaining a consistent documentation chain.
Structured documentation to support supplier assessment, risk management and buyer compliance processes.
Material classified to ISRI/EU grade nomenclature, independent inspection of weight and chemical assay, and a certificate of origin with a documented chain of custody for each shipment.
For qualifying materials: classification and shipment documentation prepared under the Basel/OECD and EU waste-shipment rules applicable to each material, coordinated with the importer before departure.
We seek to maintain sufficient evidence to reconstruct the material journey from the identified source through to delivery.
We promote the recovery and valorization of secondary metals, keeping high-value materials within new production chains and progressively reducing dependence on virgin raw materials.
Available supply and transport information can be incorporated to support Scope 3 analysis without replacing the client’s own verification processes.
Operational and documentary traceability provides the foundation for reliable, long-term supply relationships.
Review our sourcing model →For the Chilean mining & industrial sector
Chilean mining has committed to circular-economy and waste-valorization targets under international standards. Andecour is the formal, auditable counterpart that turns metal surpluses, scrap and by-products into documented circular supply for European industry.
Each lot we purchase, classify and export is a valorized tonne your operation can report — with independent inspection and evidence of its final destination.
A formally incorporated Chilean company, transparent transactions, verified weight and assay, and a traceable destination at a European smelter — aligned with Copper Mark and ICMM expectations.
We work within each site’s safety, access and operational procedures, with compliant transport, tax documentation and origin records.
Chile → Europe
We connect qualified Chilean supply with the technical, commercial and documentation requirements of European industrial buyers.
Share the material, specification, volume and delivery requirements you are evaluating. We identify and qualify potential Chilean supply and structure the operating path to Europe.
Discuss sourcing requirements →Share the material, tonnage and location of your scrap or metal by-products. We evaluate the lot, coordinate sampling with independent inspection and present a formal purchase proposal.

Typically CIF/CFR or DAP to European ports, and EXW/FCA in Chile, defined per transaction according to the material and destination.
Through independent inspection: certified weighing and sampling with chemical assay. The price adjusts to the verified results.
Commercial documents, certificate of origin, inspection certificates and the shipment documentation required under the applicable EU/OECD rules for the material.
Around 30–40 days of ocean transit to Northern European ports, plus preparation and inspection time in Chile.
Letters of credit and other documentary structures agreed per transaction.
Send us the characterization and location of the material. We evaluate it, coordinate sampling under your site’s procedures and present a formal proposal; once verified, we manage removal, logistics and documentation.
